Deliveries to oil fields, construction state plants have to be escorted by in advance valid security permissions before they reach the final destined plants. Permissions have to be issued to all deliveries destined to the main Province of Baghdad or/and in transit through the province either to the south or north of the country. Applications for these security permissions are issued in Baghdad by the security office. Without such security permissions trucks are stuck waiting until permissions are in order.

These procedures are causing delays and waiting time.

Delays vary between 3 to 5 days causing extra fees and demurrages.
